Solar Energy, Renewable, and Wind

Solar Energy

Welcome to EnergyAnalects.com! If you have been searching for information regarding all types of renewable energy then you have come to the right place! Our site has information on all types of natural energy sources form energy solar energy to wind energy. EnergyAnalects.com does not promote any one product or method of use. Our goal is to provide as much information as possible so that you can make the best decision for your home or office.   Using renewable energy from sources such as the sun, wind or water will help our environment to relish in its natural state.  Non-renewable sources of energy like fuel and coal will eventually run out and while in use they harm the environment.  EnergyAnalects.com updates often so be sure to explore our site often so that you remain informed on items that promote natural energy.

Renewable energy is generated from natural sources like sunlight, wind, rain and even heat.  With the use of solar panels, home wind turbines, and by applying the techniques of energy efficiency to your home and office can convert this type of energy to energy you can use to run and heat your home.  Currently these types of energy sources are used on a personal basis, supplying homes in rural areas with power.  However, there are large scale natural energy plants that have been created to supply small towns or large offices with energy.  The rise of natural energy is opening a window to purifying our environment.  With the constant use of non-renewable resources eventually natural resources are all that will remain to supply energy to our many sources.

One prominent type of natural energy is wind power.  The currents in the atmosphere can be used to run turbines that are able to convert natural energy into usable energy.  In areas where winds are stronger the turbines produce more energy.   This makes them great for powering farms or homes in rural areas as well as locations at high altitudes or close to the shore line.  This method has been used for centuries to aid in production of crops and has only been transformed to convert energy for a hundred years.  This type of natural power is extremely beneficial because it is clean, secreting no emissions into the environment, and the energy converted can be widely distributed.  The main flaw of this source of natural energy is that air flow is not always a constant in most areas.  Converted energy is un-able to be stored, ergo it must be used as it is created.  This creates problem with energy use because there will be times where there is ample energy flowing though the turbine, there will also be times where there is little to no energy.

Another natural resource energy is solar energy that is derived from the sun through solar radiation.  This type of energy can be used and implemented in two different approaches; active and passive.  Active use of energy requires the use of a solar generator, like panel.  Passive use incorporates the placement of buildings and the design of structures to take advantage of the sun to naturally light and heat them.  Solar panels use energy from the suns light to generate electricity that can be used like energy from fuels.  This is possible through the photo-electric effect which creates voltage between two materials using radiation as the main electric source.  To ensure this process works the materials, usually silicon, must be connected to one another and the rest of the panel.  The panel must be protected from damage and moisture at all time to ensure its safe generation of electricity.  There are many types and designs of panels so they can be used for personal production of electricity or widespread production for communities or business’.
